Johnny Read
Johnny is a businessman in touch with his inner geek. He seeks to bring together his understanding of business and technology to put solutions together. He particularly works in the Business Intelligence and Enterprise Systems parts of the business, and has been with Village over 20 years. As well as being a partner in the business he is a lecturer at Liverpool Business School.
Sue Roberts
Putting effective solutions together takes more than great technical skills and process. Sue has extensive experience in the information solutions field, which she deploys to ensure Village develops long term clients, not flash in the pan projects. She also helps to ensure that we are not just clever programmers but we provide an infrastructure around our work to ensure we are a sure footed and reliable partner to our clients.
Paul Geering
Paul is our embedded systems expert and spends a lot of time juggling the conflicting requirements of minimising battery use while communicating over the internet in his work on low power systems. When he’s not elbow-deep in obscure electronics he works on Enterprise Integration projects and has clocked up a remarkable number of hours on clients’ sites making uncooperative systems communicate.
Dominic Bisset
In his time at Village, Dom has helped with most projects across the company, bringing architectural expertise and technical excellence to whatever he works on. Now Dom spearheads the Business Intelligence effort, working to deliver comprehensive Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions for clients looking to get a better view of their organisation. Whether you’re looking for some straightforward reports, interactive charts or a self-service Natural Language interface, Dom will be able to help you.
Kaja Chłostowska
Kaja joined us some years ago after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Computer Games Technology. Bringing unique perspectives from the gaming industry, her solid programming skills have been used across a range of projects from bringing additional diverse organisations into the SampleTrack world to interacting with Government API's for record checking.
Graham James
Graham's background is in Enterprise Information Solutions within the Manufacturing, Education, Healthcare and Supply Chain sectors. The depth of his Board level experience in IT adds dynamism to the management team to grow in traditional and new markets.
James Wynne
Joining Village off the back of a masters course James is bringing his wider experience to the application development team.
Helen Macaskill
After completing her PhD degree in Physics Helen has moved more deeply into the data world. She is applying the technical skills for data management and the sharp thinking to find solutions. She is heavily engaged on the ETL and data management parts of peoples work.
Jess Farrell
Jess specialises in visual analytics and predominantly works with the Tableau and Power BI toolsets. Jess has worked with a varied client base across markets including retail, manufacturing, Healthcare, Education and Telco. Additionally to her work in BI she is involved in QA and testing within the company.
Chris Begley
Chris joined Village with over a decade of experience in software testing across a wide range of products including home automation, mobile ticketing services and healthcare information technology systems both in the UK and the US. Joining the company during a pandemic can’t have been easy but Chris soon got to work applying his extensive experience of software testing, implementing UI automation using Cypress and QA processes. Village now has a more enhanced testing and QA processes and clients can be confident that Chris always on hand to assist clients with UAT queries and management.
Tony Farrell
Tony has recently joined the Village team from Network Rail following an ambition to move from an end user team to join our BI development team.
Rachel Patterson
Rachel is a project manager and digital transformation and project management specialist with 25 years experience in the software industry. Her role at Village is to engage with clients and Villages development resources to move projects to a successful conclusion. Rachel additionally provides some small business consulting through Prospera Business Services.
Colette Dalton
Collette has extensive experience working in digital companies. We are delighted to have her keeping a weather eye on costs and keeping the financial case in order. Digital transformation and software is a significant investment for our clients and Colette helps to keep an eye on these important facts. Collette is a part time member of staff when she is not on duty at Village Collette works for Keeley Consulting.
Lindsey Moore
Lindsey in involved in connecting Village's capabilities with our prospects and clients. Helping our programming team find people looking for programming teams alongside her company Agnes Marketing.
Peter Reid
Starting his second career at Village, Peter has been working across a range of technologies delivering software solutions in .Net and Angular with some Power Apps. Before studying software Peter had worked the phones in call centres, so both has the ability to talk to clients and colleagues and an empathy for the end users of some of our systems.
